Fishing Rods

Looking at maybe grabbing a couple of thse to try out for drifting/fishing tubes for smallies in deeper water. Anyone have any feedback on them? I like the idea of a moderate-fast action, but was wondering just how moderate are they. Will they have enough power for a good hookset in 25 ft of water?

The LTX medium 7 footer is one of my favorite rods. I own three. I have used it for shakey heads, split shotting, drop shotting, jerk baits and to toss underspins at breaking fish. Yes, enough back bone. I've caught several eight pound LMB on this rod. Get it!!

They will have plenty of backbone. I use them for Drop and shakey heads.

decided to not go with them. They may be good for shakey heads & drop shotting, but I'm needing something for draging 1/4 oz+ tubes in water depths from 20 ft to 35 ft, and I'm thinking this rod isn't enough.
Going to pair my 7'0 medium action St Croix Lengend Tournament Bass spinning rod with another, and use them next season!
