Fishing Rods

Is the 6/6 heavy action rod stiffer than the 7 ft heavy action rod.
I want a rod for pitching 1/4 oz to 3/8 jigs but I am more accurate at pitching to specific spots and under branches and docks.
Would the M/H 6'6" rod be stiff enough for these jigs. I plan on using braided line.

I would 'think'(d/k for sure) that the 6/6 is "stiffer" just because it's shorter?

I use the 7', 6" Helium Heavy Caster for pitchin' 1/2 oz and heavier jigs. I have started pitchin' with my 7' Medium Caster Helium lately and it pitches the lighter weight jigs better IMO.

I think you are right, it may be too stiff because the 7ft heavy one is pretty stiff already. I usually like a softer tip for pitching.

I think I will go with the M/H.

The He70MHC is a dynamite rod for jigging. Good choice!
