New ARGON crankbait specials!

Postby rsburns » 11/2/08 10:46pm

I'm anxiously awaiting for the new Argon Crankbait Special 7'9" Cast "Long Caster" to arrive! I've checked out the pictures available, and have decided this is the next rod that I plan to buy. The Blue blanks are absolutely gorgeous; I like what I see!

I've been throwing crankbaits on 7' and 7'6" rods, and anxious to see what the additional length on this Argon Crankbait Special will do. Can anyone tell me how this will handle deep diving baits like DD-22's, etc.?

New Argon

As am I waiting on these rods. You are right, these are some gorgeous rods and I can't wait to get my hands on one. From what I have read on these rods, Kistler may have outdone themselves, again. You should be able to cast a large crankbait a 100 yards with these and I can only imagine the lightness...............can't wait.

The 7'9" Argon Crank Bait "Longcaster" is specifically designed for the bigger, deep diving baits. You will absolutely cast the line off of your spool and get that bait down where the sweet spot is indeed!
We will have a few to sell come next week, then you'll have to wait until Christmas to get one of the first full runs of 09 rods. It will be worth the wait if you are forced to wait. Thanks,

I plan on purchasing several of the 7'9" Argon rods. Here in NC we love to throw crankbaits. During the summer months we only throw those deep divers. I have always wanted a longer rod that would give you that extra distance without the extra weight. It sounds like we have it now.

We do have a few Argon models available today after shipping many out to many of our loyal dealers who had placed their orders months ago such as Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops. If you want to get one, you might think about at least trying to give us a call and putting your order in as to get on the waiting list because our next run of Argons will be gone just as fast.

By the way, I tested the 7'9" Crankin' rod last weekend and it REALLY LAUNCHES THE BAIT and loads up perfectly on BIG fish!

Guys, Here is a little proof of my claim about the Argon rods REALLY working! Me and my boys had great time testing the rods last weekend.

Trey, Did you say BASS PRO SHOPS? Is bass pro shops FINALLY going to carry Kistler???

Also, Are these rods going to be as lightweight as I've come to expect from Kistler? I know they are built to be STRONG so is this going to add weight to the rod? How does it compare to the LTA's?

Yes, BASS PRO SHOPS all over the country will be carrying ALL of our rods!!! Praise God!!!

The Argon rods are built with our IntelaMatrix design much like our new Helium 1 and 2 blanks for 09. They will all be lighter than any 08 blank ever felt! Seriously, these rods are amazing! Trust me, I was shocked after fishing last weekend with a set of Argons.

These BPS stores, as well as all of our dealers will not see a complete set of our 09 rods until Jan-Feb because they are clearing our their 08 stock, BUT some stores will have select rod lines. Also, they will be made available through their catalogs and web sites.

is the handle really 12"? doesn't that seem a little long? That is longer than all of my flipping sticks.

It is PERFECT for chunking bigger baits a LONG way and PERFECT for leverage while cranking. This design is PERFECT for what it is designed for. Try it and see why.
