7'6" telescoping flipping stick stuck

Postby CZ » 11/29/04 8:12pm

I have a mark tyler series 7'6" flipping stick that telescopes. It currently is stuck with the guides rotated over to the left. :( I can not get the rod part to go back down like a telecoping rod should it seems that it is locked into position. Is there anything I can do to be able to push the rod back down to move it over so it is straight again. (I hope this makes sense) :D

One way you might try to collapse that rod is this method:

Grab tightly around the rod with your strong hand, underneath the bottom guide. Take the rod outside to the driveway and bang the butt cap on the cement as hard as you can while keeping the rod vertical.

This should break the top piece loose from the cylinder without damaging the rod.

Good Luck,
