I Caught a Big One!

Postby Kistler1 » 6/4/08 12:03pm

This is a picture of a big 10lb. bass I caught with my dad last weekend. I would say it was a good first fish. I was using the Helium 7' medium/heavy. The bait was the new Mann's hardnose paddle tail swimbait. I didn't hear anything from him the rest of the day about catching one bigger than me. I am glad that he got to go with me because I enjoy everytime we get to fish together. I hope we get to go again soon.

The fishing sounds great. I am going to do what ever I can to get up there pretty soon. I might even drag Lance up there with me. From what I heard the ponds are the only way Clifford can catch fish like that?????????? Not really, but it is nice to have access to some ponds with fish like that in them. The ponds I fish are between 30,000 and 175,000 acres.

Ryan-
The fishing this weekend was out of this world. Friday I had 20 fish with 10 being between 5 and 10 lbs. (pic below).
Saturday during our tournament we had 40 fish all day with 15 of those being between 3 to 5 lbs.
Heres a pic of the 10 from friday, from Lake Fork, spot "X"!

I am really getting antsy to come up there now. I have not gotten a chance to fish Fork alot during the summer months since around 1995 or so. Anytime you can catch fish like that in this heat you know you are doing something right. Spot-X huh....
