The Kistler Magnesium I'm looking at is the 6'10" MH, & the Shimano Cumara I'm looking at is the 6'8" Med, extra fast.
Both priced quite comparable, both are made in China. I know this is a Kistler site, so Kistler would dominate.
But just wondering in regards to sensitivity, durability & light weight, why choose one over the other?
I am deciding from the 2 which would be more of an all purpose spinning rod. Also maybe dock skipping when needed.
The only gripe I have w/ the Magnesium spinning rod is the placement of the hook keeper. I tried a Magnesium in the specs mentioned & noticed that the hook keeper would every so often snag the line. I wish that it was placed on the side or on top, not on the bottom.
