Fishing Rods

This past weekend I had the privilege in participating and fishing in the 2008 KCKL Tournament on Cedar Creek Lake. It is a fun tournament and I enjoy being a part of it every year. I enjoy just meeting and talking to everybody including the kids at this tournament. I am very impressed with the number of the youth anglers that get involved. It is just one of those tournaments that people keep coming to every year.

This year I almost won it. I ended up coming in second with an 8.02. I caught it on a He70MHC using a Yamamoto Senko and 14lb. Gamma Edge. There was a little drama during the tournament. Gene Dodson who won the tournament had a hard time at first locating his current fishing license, but ended up finding it. I can not wait until next year.
