Fishing Rods

I'm looking at getting a Helium 7'0 Medium Light spinning rod to throw lucky craft 65 bevy shads or small crank baits up to 1/4 ounce. Has anyone used the 7'0 medium light? Is the rod action like a noodle or should I go up to a medium action?

Can you tell me the difference in the 07' model 7' medium light verses the 08' model.

The 07 was a little noodle like when compared to the faster action 08 blank. The other differences are cosmetics and a cork butt cork in place of the old eva foam. Give Ryan a call here at the office if you want more details so he can go over it with you.
