First fish of the 2008 Season

Postby RBelott » 2/18/08 7:41pm

I went out yesterday to make sure everything on the Boat was good to go for the 2008 season. The weather was 41 degrees with a 30mph North wind. Water temp was 42 degrees. Decided to fish for a little while and caught my first fish for 2008. Without my Kistler rods I would not have felt this fish bite do to the rough water on the lake. I would just like to thank the Kislter rod family for making the best fishing rods on the planet.

Very nice way to start off the '08 season! Now I'm wondering if I have time to place an order for another Kistler 7' rod for my crankbaits and get it here before our first tourney on March 15th, 08'...

Hmmm...Where did I put that credit card??? :)

P.S. Nice hoodie, I've got mine on all the time.

What's a picture really worth?

Postby Blister72 » 3/3/08 2:05pm

Well...I couldn't resist after seeing the pic of this big ol' bass, along with the many others forum users have posted, so I ordered yet ANOTHER Kistler rod.

This time the Mg 7' medium fiberglass/graphite composite crankbait one. My wife is gonna flip!

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, but I can safely say this one was worth at least $179, plus shipping and handling for my latest purchase.

Like they say, it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. Maybe not easier. LOL.

Thank you for trying another one of our rods out. Let us know how you like it after that big one bends in double over!
