Love the new Chatterbait Mg rod!

Postby Blister72 » 1/8/08 2:29pm

I just wanted to thank Trey and his staff for making it feel like Christmas all over again, when my new Magnesium Chatterbait rod showed up yesterday. I took off early from work, as soon as the wife told me it had arrived.

It looks so sweet paired up with the Daiwa TD Zillion 7.1, and balances right at the hook hanger...very nice! It's a keeper!

Thank you so much!

That rod has put a lot of fish in the boat for me the last couple of weeks. Here in Wisconsin the chatterbait and swim jig bite has been on fire as of late. Just a great rod for those applications!!

Very versatile, indeed.

I've found that while using this rod/reel combo with 12lb. P-Line Halo, it is amazingly versatile. Not just for swimming jigs and my favorite "ChatterFrog" in emerald.

Anything over 1/2 oz rocks on it. I use it with 3/8ths Evolution jigs and trailers, 1/2 Rapala FATDT3 crankbaits, jerk baits, and even some senkos.

I'm spooling up 50lb Power Pro in phantom red next, to see how it holds up to various topwater frogs, including the new "Secret Lures" Chubby with clear legs. Oh yeah, bring it on!

Plenty of shorties caught on it, but now I want to snag some HOGS!
