Prayers

Postby dan » 12/27/07 7:52am

Just want to say it's nice to have a christian based company in the fishing market.and open about it thanks. With that being said just would like to talk about my wife and i.this past january my wife found a lump on her brest and went to the doctor.and they ran test and the doctor was almost sure it was not cancer.Well it was and it's spreading to others organs. She has been taking chemo since may and and the first 2 typs of chemo they used did not help.at the beginning of the jurney the doctors said it was aggressive type cancer. The doctors have her on two chemo meds now which she takes one by pill and one treatment a week for two weeks and off a week this is done thru a port. We are staying strong in our faith in god.And with lots of prayers from our church family. I know that god sees the big picture and all we see is the moment we are in. Ps your friend in christ Dan

Praying

Postby CapeCodBass18 » 3/18/08 5:30pm

I am surprised nobody has responded to this. My prayers are with you. My mother has been thru an UNBELIEVABLE battle w/ cancer. It started as colon, moved to the liver and she had 1/3 of her liver removed. After that was in remission she got a totally unrelated breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy and then eventually needed a mastectomy. There has been many times when it seemed like she could not fight anymore, many doctors who said she may not make it another day, and she has been on many different chemo treatments, even research-phase medicines. It has been over 5 years now and she is doing very well, all things considered. Stay strong and as long as you put your faith in Christ, I promise you, He will give you and your wife the strength to get through whatever His will may be. May God Bless You and your wife.

Cancer

Postby Slide_R » 3/18/08 7:19pm

Dan,

My prayers are with you and your wife.

Heavenly Father we ask for divine healing and that you would make a way where the pain and struggles associated with cancer would be more manageable until that healing comes, we ask this in the name above all names Jesus Christ. Amen
God Bless,
