Fishing Rods

Hi all guys,

i have to replace some of my rods (of another famous brand) with some Kistler rods!
I already own an Helium HE66mc that i use for weightless soft jerkbait, hard jerkbait and small crank and i really
love it!
Now i would need this kind of rods for the following application, and tell me if i'm going wrong or suggest something
better if you think there is something more indicated!

So i need :

A jig rod, to use jif of 1/2 oz at least 3/4 and i thought at the He2HC70 that is 7' for 1/4 - 1 oz

A rod for bigger crank, like Norman DD22 and Bomber fat free shad, let's say at least 3/4 oz cranks and deep diving, and i would choose the KCBS7

A spinning rod for fishing finesse split shot rig, and that in some situation i could also use for drop shotting (also if i don't practice drop shot so much) and i would go with the He2M69S (isn't it too powerfull for finesse? it's rated for at least 1/2 oz, that's not exactly finesse...)

A rod fo fishing spinnerbaits of 3/8 and 1/2 oz, i'm looking for a rod of 6'6'' of lenght because i'm able to be more accurated in casting with a rod of this lenght, but i don't have any idea on wich could be the best choice!

Let me know your suggestions guys!

I use the LTA He76THC for jigs, the MAgnesium MgCBGGM70 for big cranks, the Graphite Spinning KFWTS69 for all finesse applications, and the LTA He69MHC for spinnerbaits. Hope this helps.

Go with the MgDSFWML69S for drop shotting... The He2HC70 that you chose is an excellent jig rod, for the spinnerbait you can't go wrong with the HE66MHC and for the crankbait stick with the KCBS7, this is by far my favorite rod!!! Probably because I use it over half the time i'm fishing!!!! This rod is outstanding for the heavy crankbait applications that you refered to....But I also us it for throwing lures as small as 1/8 oz speedtraps and 1/4 Frenzy Rattlrs with NO problem!!!! I've had numerous bass over seven pounds with the largest over ten on this rod. You will not be dissapointed!!

I have to agree with Mike(creationfish) in all cases. But if you still want the H2 for the drop shot( I do ) the HE2M69S works excellent. Unmatched sensativity for those really light pick ups, 1/16 to 1/2 oz suggested lure weight.

For your jig rod I would get a LTA He76 XHC.

Looks like you have recieved some great advice.

Here is how I am set up

Jig rod- He2HC70, great rod, like it for throwing big football jigs in the summer

Spinnerbait rod- MgCBCGGM66, love the tip on this rod!! last week I hauled in a 7+ pound fish on a 3/8 oz blade!!

Crankbait rod- MfCBCGGM70, same as my "spinnerbait" rod, just the 7 footer.

I don't have a dropshot rod, but it looks like others are giving you good advice!
