Hi, anyone use this rod for fishing with frogs? I buy this rod for skipp under trees because Frog&slop is too siff for me and have heavy weight compared with magnesium series but i´m not very secure if is a good choice for skip frogs.(mainly spro bronzeye frog) Is better option Mag 7h for this purpose? What do you think?

The 7' med-hvy would be perfect for your application , this rod works very well for open water frogging . The MgSWMH70 has plenty of back bone to to pull those toads out of cover and with enough tip to skip those Bronze Eye's to the back of those docks . Hope this helps !!
