Redfish and Speckled Trout

Postby chavez » 9/9/04 9:02am

Here's a picture of me holding a limit of redfish and a couple of nice sized speckled trout caught on my very first Kistler rod from over two years ago. It was a 6' 9" Wacky Worm Special spinning. Excellent rod! The picture was taken in the middle of Nighthawk Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas.

I've since switched to using a couple of Kistler Helium rods for inshore fishing (a He70MLC and He70MC) but I don't have any pics of me holding the rod and the fish.

Here is a fish I caught in my kickboat with my Kistler flippin stick, I was throwing a frog on the California Delta in the early morning. CZ

Fall Fishing at its' finest!

Postby Steve H » 11/19/04 8:45am

I just received my Heliums a few days ago and I had one last chance to fish before the water went hard. Here are a couple of dukes, we caught fall fishing up here in Canada, the larger one dropping the scales to 6' 1/2" lbs.

Here are a few smallies from Dale Hollow (21",20",20") and a 20# Drum and 21" Largemouth. Just a few from a great Thankgiving Day Holiday!
Had a few more 19 inch fish and some 16 inch Kentucky Spotted bass also.

Nice ( - - blocked - - ) work Lightning! You sure you didn't just change your clothes and take multiple photos of the same fish???? lol
Kidding!

28 lbs!

Thanks for the "nice ( - - blocked - - ) work" comment :D 95% of the time, I'm fishing by myself so the pics may or may not come out. The ( - - blocked - - )'s timer function and a good tripod make them possible.
