Fishing Rods

My opinion of the new Top Water Jerk Bait rod.

I received the rod on Thursday and fished it all morning on Friday. I used a variaty of lures to test the possibility of the rod being a multi purpose moving bait rod. I was impressed with the response or the rod. I threw poppers, spooks, chatter baits, spinner baits, jerk baits, 1/4 oz shallow diving and 1/2 oz med diving cranks.

The rod loads up nice on the cast and can be used on most moving baits due to the mod/fast action.

I paired it with a Shimano Conquest 50 spooled with Trilene 10 lb Maxx.

IMO Kistler got it right.

In the near future I will add another to my arsenal.
