I finally got to use my new custom built z bone rod this past Saturday and amazing is all I can say. When people say that the rod has nothing to do ...

LTA or MG???

Postby iowascott » 2/18/07 6:43pm

Trey or others,

I'm trying to pair up a viento for worms and jigs and sometimes some slower topwater applications where I can take advantage of the reels versatility. I thought the He70mhc was the way to go but perhaps the MgSWMH70 could do the trick.

Would really appreciate your response

All the best from the frozen midwest,

Scott,

Hope it warms up soon for you guys. We had our coldest day, in awhile, here in Texas last week.

I would have to say go with whichever handle design is going to feel comfortable. The actions are very similar and both rods are super light weight. I like them both. I think the LTA has a little faster tip than the Mg.

Either way, you can't make the wrong choice. That's for sure. Have fun!

I agree with Cal. I have a Viento on a Helium LTA. The color match is perfect.

Looks huh? Well I guess I can buy into that and use it as a confidence builder.

New motto....Feel good (get it) look good, and fish good.

Trey it was cool seeing you on Fishing University on Versus the other day. Looks like you guys killed em that day.

As for weather it actually got up above freezing today. I'm hoping to see some bass skating on the ice.

Thanks for your help guys.
