Fishing Rods

Went out with a buddy of mine to do a little fishing in 42 degree water. Yup they still eat swimbaits Not bad for five hours of fishing. Can't wait to get my hands on one of the new Kistler swimbait rods I would rather not use my flippin stick

Wow!!!! That is awesome. Where were you fishing??? I have yet to get out and use my new LTX flippin' stick. Good job!

Sorry to not get back to you sooner. The fish were caught on a public lake here in N. Calif. If I gave up the location of this lake right now I would have to go into hiding. My fish was caught on a 7'11" Helium 2 LTX flippin stick matched with a Shimano Calcutta 400b reel and 25lb Big Game with a Huddleston swimbait. You are going to LOVE your LTX for flippin.
By the way I went to the same lake yesterday and did not get a bite....... Thats swimbait fishing

Mike, no problem! Alot of people don't catch a fish that size in their lifetime and you got three in one day. Too awesome. Wish I had more confidence in swimbaits. I've tried the Optimums and Storm Wild Shiners, but blanked. I always go back to the baits I know I can catch them on. I think I need to be a little more persistent.
