Looking to buy a helium for flipping and pitching and wondering what size i should go with being 5'10" or so. Was looking at the 7'6" but wondering if the 7' is maybe more suited for me?

Also if any of you guys have experience with the graphite plus series i posted a ? there if anyone can help me with that?

Thanks

I'm 5'11" & use a 7'6" for pitching. If your on a boat it should be fine.

I'm 5', 10" too according to my lovely wife of almost 40 years  even though I 'claim' I'm almost 6' tall :D . I have both 7' and 7', 6" Heliums and have pitched with both. I would go with the 7', 6" rod too as every little bit help's especially when flippin'!

I agree. Go with the 7'6", you won't be disappointed. The 7'6" Helium is my favorite rod. I own two that I use for flipping and carolina rigging.

I have never owned the telescoping model. I held several in the store and never liked the weight. The weight diference is what finally sold me on the 7'6" rod. If Kistler did not make the one piece I would still be pitching with a 6'6" Heavy. Fortunately for me, my tackle junky ( - - blocked - - ) steered me too the HE76, thanks fellers (SD and LR).

( - - blocked - - ), all ways go with a one-piece rod if you can transport it. I was afraid I couldn't fit one inside of my F150 XLT but it does---just barely.

I have a two-piece, locally-made , 7', 6" pitchin' rod but it's put aside now as my Heliums are so superior.

You're welcome Ez 8) .
