They are a great rod. I have 3 of them. The only complaint I have with them is that sometimes when throwing the huge deep divers, I wish it had a little more backbone so I could throw them further. The extreme flexibility does help when playing fish on a crankbait. Other than that, an awesome rod.

This rod is really designed for the small to mid sized, shallow and mid-running crank baits. It is a little too flexible for the deep diving baits.

Also, any other light treble hooked bait, is a dream to cast with ease and so many more bass will make it to the net.

More anglers love this this rod over any other rod they own in our line. There is something about this composite rod that feels so nice.

I hope this helps,

Trey, what rod would you recommeng for the bigger cranks, DD-22's, exc...? Most of the other graphite rods I've used in ml to m were too sensitive, seemed like I was pulling the bait from the fish. I def. wasn't knowcking the mg crankbait rod, it is awesome rod (I wouldn't have 3 if they weren't good!) If you were to come out with one with a medium heavy action, I'd probably have 3 of them also.

Thanks

I use the HE76MHC for deep divers like the DD22's. Yes, it is a little more sensitive but it helps in identifying structure and cover. It also works really well for a lipless cranking rod in the grass. I don't know why it's not called an APC rod for all the uses I've found for it. It makes an awsome wacky worm rod also! The Mag series cranking stick is an awsome rod for shallow to medium cranks but the deep divers will overwork it a little.

There is a craze going on right now with that He76MHC rod. This stick is so versatile, many are buying two or three after falling in love. Some even call it the DD-22 Special. You can't go wrong if you try one out. I promise.

Are the 76mh readily available? I don't see them on the site.
