KISTLER SWIMBAIT RODS?

Postby nevadabassr » 11/20/06 12:16pm

TREY- I AM EAGERLY, WELL MAYBE NOT SO EAGERLY AWAITING FOR KISTLER TO LAUNCH A SWIMBAIT ROD LINE. I KNOW THEY WILL BE THE LIGHTEST-STRONGEST RODS MONEY CAN BUY. I KEEP TELLING MY HUDDLESTON TROUT AND MATT BLUEGILLS TO JUST BE PATIENT.

We are working on one nice big stick at the present time. They should be available early Spring 07.

It will be a 8 foot Graphite Plus version for only $ 159.99. Designed for the 2-6 ounces swimbaits.

Thanks for being patient. We only want to come out with a rod that will be perfect for you guys. It will be worth the wait, I promise.

Thanks,

Trey

THERE IS ONE LEFT FOR SALE TODAY!!!!! $169.99

We will not have any more ready to ship for a long while because this design was finally approved and ordered this week. This model is built by our factory in China, so it will be 4 months until we get our first shipment.

If you want to make sure get one of the first rods from this first shipment, you ought to get your order in now. We are not bringing in to many of these to start with because of the time of year.

Thanks, Trey Kistler

I got the Swimbait in the mail recently and it looks sweet but too bad we have about 6 inches of ice here so I won't get to use it for a few months. Thanks.

Wish you could try it out. How do you like the feel and set up?

We made two more prototypes if anyone wants one. These are the last two left of the original blanks and components. It will be a few months before we get the 1st full run in stock.

If you wanted to get one of these two last remaining prototypes, give Cindy a call here at the office.

Good Fishing,

Trey

I have been using a Redington but this rod blows it away. Feels great. I took it down to my local shop and the guy loved it there. I think I am going to either team it up with a Conquest 401 or the Calcutta 401. It is soon to be my favorite rod. I will let you know how it fishes in the spring or if I go on a road trip.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Would you mind making a post on the thread about the swimbait rods? Either now or later when you get to use it?

I would appreciate it very much.

Pat,
Try the rod with a Shimano Calcutta 400b this was the reel that I was turned onto for the heavier swimbaits and wakebaits. This things can take a beating.

Chris,

We can build you one up if you can't wait for the one's from our China factory to get here. It will take us about 4 weeks or so to get it completed.

Well, the rods we build here are $169.99 and the rods from overseas will retail at $159.99.

Let me know,
