He is risen ...
Good Friday is tomorrow ... Easter is Sunday ... what do you have plans to do this weekend? Fish? Golf? Relax with friends or family? Whatever you do, I hope you have a wonderful time enjoying yourself. I also hope you remember to thank God for sending his one and only Son into our world to die and then be resurrected two days later as an example of how we also can leave our old self behind now have a new life in Christ.
I'm sure you've probably heard all about it ... that Jesus story and all huh? Well just in case you have questions or doubts, I encourage you to seek out the truth and realize for yourself what life can be like with a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Check out
Acts 1:1-11 in the Holy Bible and if you can't find someone in your life to help you with this subject, get on your knees and pray. I would bet there are several folks around you who would love to talk with you about this very important part of your life. Wouldn't you like to know for sure if when you die, you are going to live forever in heaven or in hell? In the meantime, I wish you God's blessings wherever you are in your life. May you go out into God's creation this weekend like me and my boys to catch some of His fish and make a memory that last forever. Remember to take a child fishing when you can ... it will make both of you truly happy.
Cindy's back!!!
After a leave of absence for three months, Cindy is back in the saddle! For those who don't know her, she is the heartbeat of Kistler Rods to say the least. I know hundreds of you guys and gals have missed her just as much as my staff and I have missed her. Give her a call or drop her an email to say "Welcome Back". I'm sure she would love to hear from you. She is certainly already helping us get our customer service back to where it used to be.
Academy Sports and Outdoors and Kistler Rods
You will see Kistler Rods in many of the Academy stores all over the country beginning this month. If you don't see them, ask the manager when he expects them. Academy will have a good selection of Magnesium rods to choose from but I'm sure they will be happy to special order any one of our 150 models if you ask. We are excited to be associated finally with Academy because so many anglers have found it hard to find our rods at their local tackle dealer but now they will have easy access at their favorite Academy. Now we have officially made it to the big times after getting into our forth large big chain store. Many thanks to all of you who have helped our brand grow all over the world.

I personally hope and pray that each and every one of you will find true peace and joy through the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. If you are wondering what in the world is this guy talking about that seems so foreign, I encourage you to stop what you are doing and make a decision to ask God to help you understand, and He will. I am also more than happy to visit with you if you are curious about what it is that gives me security and hope during these turbulent times.
