I have read your Warranty Policy, but what does your warranty really mean?

Let us start by explaining a few points of interest?.

Kistler Rods is not in business to sell an unconditional warranty. We are selling an innovative, high performance fishing tool. Our rods have been engineered to offer something never seen before in graphite materials. With our rods, the ultimate in sensitivity and feel are now available to anglers by reducing the overall weight of the rod. While providing you with a near weightless rod, you are now able to feel more strikes and fish all day long without fatigue.

By no means are we trying to produce rods that are indestructible. If we did, then we would be just like all the other rod manufacturers today producing rods that have less feel and weigh more just for the purpose of holding up to abuse. We feel that there are many fishermen in the world that treat their rod with care and have no problems with breaking rods. These same fishermen are experiencing the tremendous benefit to using the lightest rods on the market today.

If you decide to try one of our rods out and ever have a warranty issue, we will stand behind our product 100% by being fair with you our customer. We want you to know where we stand in regards to our warranty policy up front so there are no surprises down the road. 

If you ever have an issue due to a defect with any component on your rod, we will fix it for FREE. If you damage a component, we will gladly repair it for a nominal fee of $20, plus return shipping cost.

If the graphite blank ever breaks, we will asses the situation case by case after we receive your claim online.

Can I get a Customized rod made from one of your existing models such as a longer handle, extra...

Can I get a Customized rod made from one of your existing models such as a longer handle, extra guides or even a casting model made into a spinning rod? How much would it cost to have this done?

Yes, we can customize any of our rods to meet your demands or we can create a rod from scratch if you prefer.

The average cost is $50 extra depending on what you want to have done.

We can also have your rod Personally Engraved for only $20.00.

I love the Helium 3 rods, will Kistler add the Z bone Balancing Kit if I order a stock rod...

I love the Helium 3 rods, will Kistler add the Z bone Balancing Kit if I order a stock rod model?

Yes we can do this for you. Just request it when ordering your stock model and we will install it for you permanently. Ex. Purchase the Helium3 7'11" XH model and we will install the Z bone balancing kit for only $50 before we ship your rod. Make sure to make a special request in the comments section upon check out.

日本へのロッドの発送は長さ、本数に関わらず一律75ドル(USD)にて承っております。ロッド1本でもそれ以上(例えば5本)ご注文頂いても送料は変わりません。

アパレルのみの発送は25ドル(USD)、またロッドとアパレルを合わせてご注文の場合は100ドル(USD)になります。(内訳:ロッド75ドル、アパレル25ドル)

チェックアウトの際に発送方法選択ページ(Checkout: Shipping & Handling”)にて

“Ship Via:”:

①ロッドのみの注文の場合“9d) International – FedEx Air – (Rod Only)($99.00)”を選択。(FedEx Air発送料金:99ドル)

③ロッドとアパレルの注文の場合“9f) International – Combo(Rod and Apparel)- shipped separately – FedEx and USPS($99.00)”を選択。(FedEx AirUSPS発送料金:100ドル)(ロッドとアパレルは分けて発送されます。)

If a rod is out of stock but I want to reserve one for myself, can I pre-order?

If a rod is out of stock but I want to reserve one for myself, can I pre-order? Yes, please email or call in to reserve your rod before we oversell again on the most popular models. This will guarantee yourself a rod from the next production run. Most rods will come back into stock within 2 - 3 weeks but some are selling faster than we can build them. Good luck getting yours!

What if when I receive my rod, try it out and find that I just don't like the action or power...

What if when I receive my rod, try it out and find that I just don't like the action or power or anything else....can I exchange or return it for a different model?

Absolutely YES, because we guarantee 100% of your satisfaction and want you to be completely happy with your rod purchase. We will either give you a full refund or exchange the rod for you. All we ask is that you help pay the extra shipping cost involved which is around $35.00.

Do you ship Internationally and how much does it cost to send a rod and how do you ship?

Yes, everyday we ship to different countries all over the world including Italy, France, Spain, China, Singapore, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico, South Africa and many others. Fed Ex base cost to ship one to eight rods in our PVC pipe container is $99. In some occasions we must increase price due to your address but we request your approval before processing payment.

How do I keep my Magnesium2 Winn Grips clean and tacky?

Cleaning a Winn Grip

Because Winn grips have absorbent properties, they may eventually soil from dirt and perspiration from your fishing glove and hands. This does not affect the performance of the grip.

To clean a Winn grip, apply a small amount of water to a soft towel, and gently rub the grips. Do not saturate the towel. Never use a brush and soapy water to clean a Winn grip because it may damage the top surface and destroy the tackiness and slip-resistance of the grip.

DO NOT immerse Winn grips in a bucket of water to clean them. This will saturate the underlying layer of the grip and may ruin the grip.

Grip Care In Wet Weather

When playing in wet weather, do your best to keep your grips dry. If your grips do get wet, use a soft, dry towel to pat them dry. Never rub a Winn grip vigorously with a towel! This will damage the top surface, thereby undermining the tackiness and slip-resistance of the grip.
