New for 2009, we have created a rod that is virtually indestructible. By introducing our proprietary “Dura-Matrix” TM carbon fibers with steel-like-strength, the power is unlike any other rod on the market today.  Also, our guides are nearly bullet proof because of their rock-hard stainless 304 steel frame and rings which totally eliminate any guide and tip insert problems. The Pacific Bay reel seat will provide your reel a solid hold when fishing the most extreme conditions. Our original open “hook hanger” design allows for quick and convenient hook storage, even without removing the bait or dulling your hook point! The Carbon STEEL rods are designed, engineered and inspected at our office in the USA, by Americans.  Unfortunately, we are not able to obtain all materials and components for these rods in the U.S., either because they are not available, or because economic or quality considerations dictate foreign sourcing. So therefore, our Carbon STEEL rods are “hand crafted” by our factory trained and experienced rod technicians at our partnering facility in China.
