So many of my customers and friends have asked me to get back to sending out devotional newsletters like I used to. After a long dry spell and now a renewed spirit, I have decided to once again share my heart with you. I pray you will read and share with your close friends who might just need to hear from God today.
How many times have you prayed to God looking for answers to life? I have sat in silence listening for His voice or watched closely for a sign only to be left feeling like God just doesn't want to give me an answer.
One cool September afternoon while atop a high mountain in New Mexico during my first Elk hunt, I heard God loud and clear. After yelling at Him in frustration about unanswered questions in my life, I asked him to show me that He was real and to speak to me so that I could know he cared. I opened my barely used bible, pointed my finger somewhere on the page and opened my eyes to read one scripture. After reading, I began to cry knowing God had just spoken directly to me.
If I had waited around for God to speak to me or if I would have been sitting around watching for that sign and not picked up His letter He already had written, I might have never received my answer.
Now if you are in a similar time of you life and cannot seem to get an answer from God, I suggest you take a look at what is already written in God's Holy Bible. You might be surprised at what you find.
Jesus Christ said, "
For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes-- so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them."
Matthew 13:14
If you want to KNOW GOD and HEAR HIM ANSWER, then do what I did and read HIS WORD found in the Holy Bible, then follow Him.
