Location:Georgia Fishing Reports
Fishing Area:Spring Creek of Lake Seminole
Kistler Rod Used:7'9" Kistler Argon Crankin Rod
Description: Lake Seminole is on fire right now! The majority of the bass have finished their spawning and are focusing on the shad spawn that is starting up. I saw a bunch of shad activity the last two weekends, and that is where I have been catching them. Focusing on the 12 to 16 foot range and finding the greenest hydrilla is pretty much the key. I have been catching some on blades and ol monsters but the biggest fish have been caught cranking. You may fish a large area and not get bit and then all of a sudden catch 2 five pounders. It took 25lbs to win a local tournament saturday and 24 lbs. to get the 5th. place check, so if you dont have 25 plus forget a check!
Fishing Species:Largemouth Bass
Bait & Takle Used:Rapala risto raps and ol' monsters
Water & Weather
Conditions:
cloudy until mid-day with a little chop clearing to bright sunshine and hot
