In order to create such a work of art, we went to the legendary Gary Loomis to help us create the very best graphite blank known. This Next Generation High Modulus, paper carbon scrim blank is the foundation of the lightest, most sensitive fishing rod made today. Once our craftsmen get that blank in their hands, they meticulously build each rod to unequaled standards. In order to keep this rod the most outstanding tool in your rodbox, we meticulously test and inspect each one for power, torque and proper backbone placement then finely sand and polish each blank for that one of a kind ‘Raw Carbon’ look. This unlacquered exterior is more then just another pretty face! By polishing the graphite instead of coloring, or otherwise adding a coating, it is left to be as sensitive and responsive as possible. Match it with precise guide placement, and our unmatched handle designs and you end up with a one of a kind fishing experience.
To make your rod even more special, visit our ‘Custom Shop’ and design a Z-Bone yourself, and we will craft it to your specifications. Warranty
Obviously, a rod as extraordinary as this is intended to function flawlessly, but due to the nature of materials such as graphite, unforeseen, microscopic defects can occur. For that reason we go the extra mile with our 7 point inspection and testing (see below).
