Since each one is built by hand by our technicians, only 2000 are scheduled for creation in 2012. Each Z-Bone rod will receive individual serial numbers for quality and authenticity.

Consistent with the Kistler values, we feel we have developed the very best stock fishing rod known. Our all-new Z-bone is jam packed with cutting edge features we are sure you will love.

Every rod begins with the blank, and the Z-Bone blank is born out of the genius of Gary Loomis, legendary rod blank maker for nearly 30 years. This American made blank is the HM High Modulus Graphite with a unique carbon paper scrim material, giving you the most responsive rod available today. In order to maintain its sensitivity we finished it with a unique polishing process leaving a beautiful and highly functional "Raw Carbon" appearance. No sensitivity dampening coating is applied to the Z-Bone LE, just the pure power and beauty of graphite.

Next we worked with Fuji to give the Z-Bone LE the strongest steel framed micro guides of any rod. These guides have been Kistler tested up to 25lb fluorocarbon and even 80lb braid. Each micro guide is then wrapped with Kistler's advanced KAM Lock system to ensure strong and consistent locking of each guide to the rod blank.

If giving you the best rod made from the finest material wasn't enough, we at Kistler gave this rod a few of our own special enhancements. Starting with our patent pending Smart Grip and new for 2011 our patent pending Hook Lock lure keeper. Our Smart Grip has a slide over soft touch cover on the fore grip, which offers not only comfort but also ensures a solid reel attachment. This unique design can only be found on Kistler rods, and is one of the most popular styles we sell. Our new Hook Lock lure keeper is another Kistler innovation designed to make sure your lure doesn't fly around on those long rough hauls across your favorite lake, or in that all important tournament. Spending time untangling lures is now a thing of the past! This unique design works on all types of hooks and is the result of listening to you the fisherman.

Warranty: Obviously, a rod as extraordinary as this is intended to function flawlessly, but due to the nature of materials such as graphite, unforeseen, microscopic defects can occur.
